Don’t you hate it when you’re late for the bus that you have to make in order to take the only train that will get you to work at a reasonable hour and on the way out of the kitchen you knock over an entire box of that rainbow-colored kids’ cereal?
"Darn it,” you think to yourself, if your grouchy old boss catches you late for work one more time you might end up getting fired. You’d better run down to the basement to get the trusty old Kirby so you can vacuum up the mess.
If only you would have bought that handheld vacuum you saw in the mall the other day. You know: the rechargeable handheld vacuum cleaner you could spare just enough money to buy.
Well, Bigshot, now you may lose your job, and then your beloved little toy Maltese, Twinkle, won’t get to go to the good groomer because you’re going to get sacked, and then maybe you’ll have to declare bankrupcty!
"What the heck?" you think as you wake up.
"Oh thank heaven it was just a dream," you think to yourself as you throw your clothes on and sprint to the kitchen to quickly wolf down your breakfast so you can catch the bus.
"Darn it!"
There you go spilling the cereal just like in the dream.
Ah but wait! You did actually buy that handheld vacuum cleaner so you just pluck it right out of its wall-mounted cradle and vacuum up the cereal with plenty of time left over to make the bus.
And this time, you might even make the earlier bus, which will mean the early train, and that heavenly half-hour you gain can be spent at that nice new espresso bar that just opened next to the office. Oh, and maybe that nice barista you had your eye on will be there too.
All this because of a simple handheld vacuum.

Portable vacuum cleaners are hard to find in this day and age. Thankfully someone has taken the time to review the top portable vacuums on the market and there are a few surprises. With most portables, you find that they are either too big but good suction or small but low suction. Finding the happy medium between size and suction has been a major problem for portable vacuum cleaner consumers.
Read the Portable Vacuum cleaner review
The Portable Vacuum cleaner review is now live and they finally picked the top 3 models to choose from. The dyson DC16 made an appearance due to its extreme portability and powerful suction. One of the surprises that we noticed was a new dirt devil making the list which is around 90 dollars cheaper than the dyson dc16. If you are on a low budget then the dirt devil machine for $20 is the cheapest portable vacuum cleaner that we have ever seen. The fact that it has made number 2 of hand-helds list makes me think i need to get one.

I have just received my Eureka "quick up" hand vac so i thought i should put up my review.

The first major plus point with this machine is the rotating brush. Unlike many other handheld vacuum this rotating brush is powered. The benefit of a powered brush is that you can incorporate the Vacuum and brush to pick up things that you might otherwise have missed. This brush is also protected so it wont get damaged by any thing you Hoover up.
Unlike my old dust buster, the eureka 71b hand-held vacuum is a sturdy machine and you don’t worry about breaking it. The main reason i bought this tool was to pick up cat and dog hair as i was having real problems cleaning this with my old vacuum cleaner. The Eureka 71b allows you to easily clean any sort of furniture thanks to the powered brush that we talked about before. Thankfully it also made cleaning cat and dog hair a doddle
!
Some handheld vacuums are so god damn loud! The Super shark for example was so loud it made me feel like hell itself was opening up. Thankfully the Hand Vac Eureka Quick-Up 71b is not that loud. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend the Eureka hand-held to any of my friends.

The Dyson DC 16 is the new kid on the block when it comes to handheld vacuum cleaners.
This Bad boy has some tasty specs:
* Bagless handheld vacuum cleaner with Cyclone technology
* 2X the suction of other handhelds; recharges three times faster
* Cordless; picks up big debris; 1-press cup-emptying system
* Battery holder, crevice device, and combination accessory device included
* It is only 4-2/7 by 18-2/7 by 8-8/9 inches
I used the Dyson hand vac at a mates house and when I got back, I ordered one. It is the best! It will run about 6 minutes on a 100% charge. It comes with a charge cradle you mount on the wall and you just drop the vac into the cradle and it charges up.
Our home vac is the Dyson full size model and it is the BEST vac we have ever owned. Dyson makes the BEST.

Most people get to a point in their life where cleaning up the mess after breakfast is a chore that despises. Your normal stand-up Vacuum cleaners is great for cleaning up the floor but what about the rest of kitchen?
You need a handheld Vacuum to clean up the following:
1. Table tops
2. Kitchen tops
3. Hard to reach places – such as under the fridge or behind the cooker
4. In the Car
5. Kids bedrooms
6. Office desk
7. Clean out all the dust out of the computer
Handhelds are great because you can don’t need to plug them in! The main benefit of this is that you can vacuum clean outside. Their is now no excuse for not cleaning out the shed or the kids play house. Most handheld vacuum cleaners have a charge of at least 10 minutes so you can easily bring the vacuum cleaner away with you and clean up any mess that can happen “on-the-road”

Hand Held Vacuum Cleaners are a relatively new invention with the first hand held vacuum appearing in the early 1990’s with the Black and Decker dust buster.
The early hand held vacuum cleaners were only able to deal with very light household spills and mess.
Now in 2008 we have handheld vacuum cleaners that can deal with any household dirt such as:
*Pet Hair – used to be a real problem for early hand held cleaners
*Mud
*All forms of Dust
We have managed to get our hands on a number of HandHeld Vacuum Cleaners and have chosen what we feel is the best!
We tested the following handheld vacuum cleaners to find the best for picking up pet hair:

If you have a dog or cat – you need to buy this now! It has made pet hair a thing of the past

The dust buster is the original and this handheld worked very well.

A great handheld cleaner from dyson – this vacuum will also look great aswell!
